Let’s Explore one of the World’s Largest River Caves

At 7 km long and with an average width and height of 76m (249 ft) and 56m (184 ft) respectively, it is considered one of the largest active river caves in the world. The eerie green glow of the kayak against the Xe Bang Fai river obviously enhances the spooky alien feel but the truth is, the river cave Tham Khoun Xe in Laos really looks like a completely different world.

Shot during a two day kayaking trip by Ryan Deboodt, this film takes you on a journey through Tham Khoun Xe on the Xe Bang Fai River in Laos. Tham Khoun Xe is a river cave carved by the mighty Xe Bang Fai River and is located in Hin Nam No National Protected Area in central Laos.
